Are you looking to expand your skills and enhance your career to include providing Complex Clinical Care or do you already have Complex Care experience?
Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support him with care needs.
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.
Our service user is a child who lives with his mum in South Heaton, Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
He enjoys drawing, colouring, and getting involved in any sensory play. It would be ideal if you have worked with children previously to promote development through play and social activities.
He is nonverbal and can understand some conversation, but you will need to learn his methods of communication to anticipate his wants and needs.
You will be there to build a positive environment for bedtime to ensure he has a restful night sleep for a day full of activities.
We are looking for candidates who are reliable, patient and fun!
Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.
Essential Experience Required
- 3 months previous care experience
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
- Medication Administration
Desirable Experience
- Challenging Behaviours
- Seizure experience
We have the following shifts available;
- Part Time
- Nights
- 12 hour shifts
Take a look at our payrates
Weeknights £11.50 per hour (£138 approx per shift)
Weekends £12.00 per hour (£144 approx per shift)
Bank Holiday £13.00 per hour (£156 approx per shift)
