Salary: £44,539-£48,587 per annum

Hours: 36.25 hours per week

Contract type: 12 months Fixed Term

Your role:

GM NHS and GMCA are looking for an experienced project/programme manager to join the programme team supporting the GM Children’s Health SEND programme of work. The role will provide project management support to the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) area of work with a focus on health elements of Greater Manchester’s work on SEND.

This is your chance to join a dynamic team sat within the Greater Manchester Public Service Reform team responsible for supporting a high-profile and important programme of work that seeks to improve the lives of all children & young people in Greater Manchester.

About you:

You will be passionate about improving outcomes for children, young people and their families. You will have a broad understanding existing processes around the Children’s Services and Children’s health system. Knowledge of the SEND policy and practice area is also preferable. You will have a proven ability to develop deliver project activity across multiple areas, within a complex policy environment. You will be a strong multi agency facilitator with strong communication and relational approaches which will enhance integrated and partnership models of delivery. You will have experience of working to and alongside senior stakeholders in a high paced environment. You will be confident in leading this important programme of work. You will place engagement as vital within your skill set and be able to relate to a wide range of people including children and their families.
