As a Care Assistant at Pegasus School you will work alongside the best in their field and give excellent care and guidance to the young people at our residential school.
Duties include
· Supporting within the home, community and school setting
· Delivering personal care – including support with toileting and bathing
· Administering medication (once you have received the necessary training)
· Promoting independence
· Planning and taking part in a range of activities
About us
Pegasus School is an independent specialist day and residential school for young people aged 8 to 19 years with severe learning disabilities, autism and associated challenging behaviour. Many of our students also have mental health and therapy needs.
Essential Skills

· Experience in the care or support of another
· A willingness to deliver personal care, including toileting and bathing.
Desirable Skills/Qualifications
· Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People (Ask about our £1500 bonus for Care Assistants who join us with this qualification!)
· Experience in a similar setting
Salary: Up to £22,230.00 (dependent on qualifications & experience)
