Job description
A child-centered, play-based approach to learning is the foundation for our programs with an immediate focus on hildren wellbeing. Our Educators believe, and research confirms, that children learn best in a loving environment that allows them to be creative and to explore, where they feel empowered to try new things, guided by their own interests. We are seeking an Educator who will be responsible for developing maximum opportunities for our young students to develop academically, socially and emotionally through play.
Responsibilities:
- Help children and families learn new skills, such as problem solving, communication and language development, and self-control.
- Use developmentally appropriate materials and activities to engage children, parents, and caregivers in learning.
- Teach children and their parents about ways to work together.
- Facilitate interactions between children and their families.
- Teach infants, young children, or both in ways that promote mental well-being.
- Communicate well with all types of families.
- Interpret non-verbal cues, such as a smile or a frown.
- Take accurate observations of physical and social development.,Facilitate interaction between children and their families.
- Maintain a clear communication link between other professionals and ourselves.
Job Types: Part-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 16 per week
Salary: From £10.42 per hour
