Location – Partington Day Nursery, Central Road, Partington, Manchester, M31,4FL
Salary range – Band 1 ,£20,258-£20,812 pro-rata (£17,774 - £18,260 per annum)
Working Pattern – Term Time Only
Working hours – 36.25 (Monday to Friday between 7.30am and 6.00pm)
Contract type – Permanent

About the Role
We currently have an exciting vacancy for the role of Childcare Assistant in the team at Partington Day Nursery to support the ongoing success of the nursery. As a Childcare Assistant you will support the quality of early education and care for children and families that access the Nursery. You will support the planning and implementation of learning experiences for children accessing the setting. The role will involve working with children and families from an increasingly diverse community to ensure all needs are met in a welcoming environment. The role involves working directly with children and families as part of an experienced team. You will be a Key person for a group of children to enable them to reach their potential through positive relationships and experiences.
About you
You will have experience of working with or caring for young children. You must have numeracy and literacy skills equivalent to GCSE Grades A-C and hold a relevant Level 2 qualification in early years. You will have a working knowledge of the EYFS and be able to put the principles into practice across the early years. You will have knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice. You will be able to form positive relationships with children and families. You will be committed to ongoing professional development to ensure that the needs of children and families are met in an ever-evolving high quality setting. You will be a team player who values and respects the contributions of others. You will be a good communicator and passionate about working with children.

The role is Term Time only plus 2 weeks (full time usual working hours will be between 7.30am - 6.00pm, Monday to Friday)
