The PPC team are key to shaping and embedding a great colleague experience and we are now seeking a new Chief People Officer (CPO) to lead this team, deliver contemporary practice and evolve our thinking about the most important part of our organisation – our people. A key part of the role will be to consider how we recruit, recognise and reward the contribution our people make. Whilst this is an important part of the colleague experience, it is also essential in supporting our sustainability as a university allowing us to shape our future.

Whilst previous higher education experience is not required, candidates will bring experience in a complex, unionised environment that has undergone significant change. Importantly, the role requires a leader with a proven ability to bring contemporary practices to bear on future ways of working and an ability to work with others to drive organisational performance through our people. You will enjoy building strong and credible relationships with other leaders, and be a confident coach, with the ability to work alongside others in a strong senior leadership team.
