Job Title: Chief Operations Officer
Salary: up to £125,000 (Per annum + LTIP Bonus + Car allowance)
Location: Home based (with national travel).
Hours: Full time 37.5, permanent

We are the National Fostering Group – the UK’s largest independent fostering family. A bit more about the opportunity:
Reporting to the CEO, you will lead and support an established team of Regional Directors with the stability and growth of the business whilst maintaining and improving OFSTED ratings and drive the three key metrics in our Fostering organisation. You will lead the UK operations to deliver on these metrics whilst achieving high standard quality and regulatory performance. As part of our Executive Team, you will work collaboratively with operations and Head Office departments to ensure the organisation meets it short-term and long-term operational objectives. You will shape and embed policies and a company culture that strengthens operational efficiency, promotes growth and generates revenue.
Who we’re after:
We’re looking for someone who has demonstrable experience operating in a multi-site business ideally within a regulated environment. You’ll have strong finance skills, and experience of managing and delivering to large, multi-factorial budgets. Our ideal candidate would be ideally MBA qualified, will have a successful and widely respected track record of Board level leadership and strategic management within a large, or complex organisation in either the public or private sectors. You’ll have the ability to successfully manage transformational change to deliver improved performance in a large or highly complex operational setting is a given. If you’re able to demonstrate experience of empathic decision making, have knowledge of social care or similar environment we would welcome an application from you.
