Location: Chertsey (on-site), with regular travel to Wells (Somerset)

We also specialise in the design and installation of temporary and semi-permanent buildings for the film and TV industry.
Serious International are also proud to be developing and operating a media hub for the film and TV industry, at Longcross South Studios in Chertsey.
We are looking for a Chief Finance Officer to join our friendly team, and to lead on financial, strategic and development projects whilst optimising the Groups financial position to align with company objectives.
Accountabilities:
- Lead in all financial operations of the company including forecasting, reporting, cash management, accounts payable/receivable and monthly payroll
- Lead and participate in the production of agreed management information, ensuring timeliness, accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards
- Lead on identifying, monitoring and reporting operational and financial business risks
- Tax compliance including CIS, PAYE, VAT and Corporation Tax
- Management & development of the finance team
- Lead on preparation of annual/project budgets and monitoring actual performance.
- Preparation of annual cash flow forecasts and monitoring actual performance
- Manage and develop contractual relationships between the company and its supplier partners e.g., Bank, Lawyers, Insurers, Utilities
- Manage and liaise with contract partners to secure all IT requirements are adequate, whilst possessing a strong working knowledge of company systems
- Review and management of the company’s financial performance & controls, whilst recommending changes to improve
- Support the Board with review and inputting to all commercial contracts
- Support CEO, Directors & other senior managers on strategy and its delivery
Are you:
- A Fully Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA Accountant
- +5 years in a Finance Director role, ideally with board exposure
- Commercially focussed and strategically minded
- Experienced in leading and developing a small team
- Possessing strong reporting and analytical skills
- A confident influencer, with good communication skills
