Middletown Centre for Autism is seeking to recruit a high calibre Chief Executive Officer
Permanent, Full time Position
Salary: £66,424 to £71,912/ equivalent: €77,716 to €84,137 (subject to review) plus substantial reward package
Location: Middletown, County Armagh, Northern Ireland
The Board of Middletown Centre for Autism is now seeking a high calibre and ambitious Chief Executive Officer, who will play a pivotal role in supporting the Board to lead the Centre.
This is an exciting opportunity to provide visionary leadership and to maintain and build on the Centre’s high level of success which is at the forefront of delivering innovative, high quality support and education services to children and young people with autism, their families and the professionals who work with them and the wider autism community across the island of Ireland.
About Middletown Centre for Autism
Middletown Centre for Autism promotes excellence in the development and coordination of education services to children and young people with autism, and has a remit across the island of Ireland.
The Centre’s work is underpinned by the latest research, developing innovative, evidence-based approaches to the provision of autism services. It delivers expert, research-driven guidance and advice to policymakers and education providers in both Northern Ireland and Ireland, as well as offering specialist, second tier autism support services, and an extensive training programme for parents and school staff in both jurisdictions.
Middletown Centre for Autism has an established, and widely recognised reputation for excellence, built on the quality of its extensive range of services, its outstanding leadership and the dedication of its employees and delivery partners. The Centre is firmly regarded as an excellent example of cross border co-operation.
About the Role
The successful post holder will be responsible for implementing the Centre’s strategic vision and direction, and ensuring the objectives and targets of corporate and business plans are met. As Accounting Officer, the Chief Executive is also responsible for ensuring the highest level of financial probity and compliance across both jurisdictions.
