At Teva Runcorn, we develop, manufacture and market innovative and affordable medicines, specialising in sterile liquid products mainly used for treating respiratory conditions using Blow-Fill-Seal technology as well as injectable Combination Products such as our MS treatment Copaxone.
A Day In The Life Of A Chemistry Analyst
As a Chemistry Analyst you will carry out Product analysis in order to supply quality products to customers and meet department objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test and analyse bulk and finished product using the correct procedures in compliance with cGLP, cGMP, Health and safety, SOPs and environmental and regulatory requirements.
- Working in a fast paced environment comprising of both basic lab-work and the use of complex chemical testing equipment.
- Deliver high customer service to all customers by testing bulk and finished product in an efficient and timely manner.
- Carry out the review of test data and analysis to make sure that product specifications are met.
- Process, maintain and archive all QC documentation, right first time, i.e. correct and in full, in order to achieve customer service and GMP.
- Establish performance/development goals. Maintain training records accurately, ensuring compliance with regulatory and business standards.
- Monitor and purchase laboratory consumables ensuring availability for timely testing of all samples.
- Ensure performance of instrument maintenance and calibration checks.
Who We Are Looking For
Do you have?
Ideally a degree in a relevant discipline and/or position specific experience
Working lab experience ideally before but should have experience through education
Pharmaceutical experience operating to regulatory standards is desirable
Understanding of cGMP/GLP/Regulatory/Health and safety- desirable
Good knowledge of Laboratory instrumentation (such as FT-IR, UV-Vis, HPLC, TOC and DSC)
Are you?
A good communicator and team worker with the ability to deliver high performance standards relating to Quality, Safety, cost and customer service
Someone who has excellent attention to detail
Able to follow procedures and processes closely
