Position Summary and Responsibilities

Job Purpose:

The Operator is responsible for the day-to-day operation of production equipment to produce Printed Circuit Boards, primarily in the Chemical Process Area (CPA), but also elsewhere dependent on production demand. He / she will report to the respective Supervisor. This position requires working a day shift.

Key responsibilities:

Ensure that production equipment is operated in line with training, instructions, and other relevant documentation
Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with the work instructions, with standard operating procedures and in line with Health and Safety Instructions
Ensure the equipment and its immediate surrounding area is treated with respect and due care and attention and cleanliness is maintained whenever possible
Ensure that production throughput is met
Communicate relevant information to the Supervisor, the Technical team, and others where appropriate
Operate a forklift to unload chemical deliveries and store accordingly
Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed in a timely manner
