Job description
- Assist with multiple ongoing projects throughout all phases including programming, schematic, design development, constructions documents, construction administration and project close-out;
- Design of engineering plans from preliminary through construction phases;
- Perform analysis and design of industrial buildings/projects;
- Technical writing for engineering studies, Basis of Design documents, and narratives for non-technical audience explaining engineering concepts to facilitate decision-making;
- Review and produce plans and specifications for compliance with industry codes, standards and guidelines;
- Seal construction documents;
- Communicate and coordinate with clients, multi-discipline teams, contractors and governmental agency personnel.
- A Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university;
- Current EIT or ability to sit for EIT exam desired but not necessary;
- Knowledge of current CAD and BIM platforms;
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Revit;
- Demonstrated knowledge of/or interest in process, waste, and ultrapure water (UPW) systems in the semiconductor, petrochemical, or bio/pharmaceutical industries;
- Willingness to learn drawing and modeling organization;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
