A Brooklyn Navy Yard-based bio-based fabric company is seeking a Chemical Engineer.
GENERAL JOB OVERVIEW:

We have an immediate opening on our team for 2 Chemical Engineers. The primary responsibilities include:
- Review and develop scalable processes for the work-ups and synthesis of materials.
- Work with our polymer/fiber R&D teams to qualify and improve enterprise formulations.
- Develop metrics for tracking the quality and consistency of raw materials.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- 5+ years’ experience in the chemical industry with a strong background with small molecules
- Keen understanding of polymer processing and characterization methods
- Familiarity on how to identify key quality metrics of dispersions
- Hands on design, build, and prototyping of scalable processes
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $42.00 per hour
