Under New Management, The Barn at Beal is now looking to increase its team.
Situated just off the causeway to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, The Barn at Beal is a family run restaurant, café & bar with uninterrupted views of the north Northumbrian Coast, including spectacular views across to Lindisfarne & Bamburgh castles. It’s an amazing spot to stop and take in the view whilst enjoying a tasty treat.
From Ringtons Coffee, to Lindisfarne lobsters delivered fresh off the boat, Lindisfarne Oysters, Beal Farm Peas, fresh game hunted here on the farm, Particularly Good chips, & the award winning Bamburgh Banger supplied from R Carter & Sons in Bamburgh our ethos here is “local, seasonal, simple”!
We are on the hunt for 3 new team members to help build, support and grow our kitchen team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Chefs of all levels. Working closely with our existing team of chefs and the owner, you will help to drive the business forward. You will be creative and imaginative with a real passion for using local and seasonal ingredients to make exceptional dishes. You will be an integral part of the team playing an active role in bringing the owners vision to fruition and creating an exceptional dining experience no matter what. To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of 2 years previous experience of working in a busy kitchen environment, be a real team player however you must also be able to work independently using your own initiative. You must be able to work calmly and professionally under pressure.
This role will have varied hours across 7 days and will include some evening work. A competitive salary along with other benefits will be offered to the right candidate.
As a family run business, having a work life balance is incredibly important. A rotational rota system will be in place to help ensure our team get time away to spend with family and friends to help ensure the creative juices keep flowing.

Salary: From £26,000.00 per year
