We are looking for full-time hourly paid chefs of all levels to work a 40-50 hour week over 4 days.
Rooneys American Sports Bar And Grill is THE venue in the area for chilling out with friends and family, enjoying the best selection of American Style food whilst being a hub for events and live music.
The kitchen is open from 10am until 10pm daily serving our fast casual concept breakfast lunch and dinner to the masses.

As a chef at Rooneys you will need ambition, passion and speed. You will be working with fresh ingredients in our newley set up kitchen under caring guidance.
This restaurant will be very busy, you will need stamina and skill to ensure our guests receive an exceptional dining experience. You should have the ability to focus, multi task and communicate whilst adhering to company specifications and producing the high-quality food that our guests will come to expect.
As a chef you will report directly to management to ensure the quality and standards are adhered to. Your training program will be personal and highly involved. Your input will always matter and will affect the business as a whole. We are a rapidly growing company, so we want to equip you for your journey to the top very quickly.
Our menus will change occasionally, requiring you to attend training sessions to bring you up to speed with new dishes. You will have a knowledge of, or be willing to, learn about the importance of gross profits and how to achieve and maintain them.
Hygiene will be of major importance to you. You should be able to adhere to our strict health and safety policies and understand current food trends.
Who we are looking for:
You will need a wonderful way with people and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Have at least 5 years’ experience in a fast pace, high volume venue
Be approachable and have great people management skills.
Have a huge passion for food and drink, customer service and attention to detail.
A team player ready to motivate.
Work well under pressure, keep calm with a carry on attitude.

Salary: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
