Wernick Buildings is looking to employ a Chef/Cook to work in our facility in Kenfig with an immediate start. Candidate must have minimum Level 2 food hygiene and safety in catering, Level 3 would be preferred, also must be able to drive and have own transport. To be successful in this role, you will need to be physically fit, have an awareness of Health and Safety, excellent time management skills with the ability to juggle a busy workload and remain calm under pressure. Being an enthusiastic team player with a commitment to offering first-class service is essential. Key responsibilities Responsible for cooking and preparing meals to current hygiene standards Always maintaining good housekeeping in work area Operating a till and taking cash Opening premises/locking up premises Stocking up vending machines Assisting in any other tasks that are required for the day-to-day running of the kitchen and eating areas.
