Head Chef – Nursing Home
£13 per hour
Overtime paid at £15.50 per hour
We are recruiting for a Head Chef to join our team at Langford Park Nursing Home in Exeter

Our residents are at the centre of everything we do and meal times are such an important part of their daily lives. We source and use local ingredients wherever possible, and offer a choice of great meals to the people we support. We want every meal at Langford Park to be an experience our residents are excited about and look forward to.
Working in a small team and supported by full time Kitchen Assistants, a great team of Carers and Management, the successful candidate will take the lead with meal planning, menu development, food ordering, planning theme days, and running mealtime service.
On a daily basis you will prepare 3 meals for our 35 wonderful residents, and a main meal four our great team of employees.
About you
- You will be a passionate cook with head chef / senior chef experience in a commercial kitchen
- You will have a thorough understanding of food hygiene requirements
- You will be keen to provide excellent quality food with every service.
- Experience in a care or nursing home environment would be beneficial.
This role is for 4 days / 40 hours per week, 7.30am to 5.30pm and will include weekends on a rota basis.
