Are you a Chef or Cook looking for a new challenge? Want daytime hours? Want flexible work, that suits you?
This is the Care Home Chef role you need. We are working with several clients in various towns across Manchester and the surrounding areas, looking for care Home Chefs for ongoing temporary work starting immediately. You'll need to have some experience of cooking in a commercial or professional kitchen, with some knowledge of catering for between 20-100 people.
You'll be responsible for: • Following recipe sheets • Cooking for up to 100 people in part of a team • Adhering to company food safety standards • Catering for allergens and dietary requirements • Helping to manage catering assistants. • Delegating small tasks • Serving and greeting residents • Completing food temp and cleaning schedules
We are recruiting throughout Manchester and the surrounding regions so if you are based in the area and looking for a new Chef role immediately, this could be for you. You'll need a DBS (if you don't already have one), Food Hygiene Certificate and also undergo an allergen exam, which we can help with.
In return, you can expect an hourly salary of between £14.00-£20.00 per hour, enhanced weekend rates, holiday pay and flexible dates to suit you and the opportunity to work in some great environments. If you think you have the skills, please get in touch or send your CV.
