IKEA Croydon are looking to welcome you to our leadership team as a Checkouts and cash office Team Leader.
This is a fast paced, high volume environment and experience is essential
Experience with the operation of the cash line and cash office is essential, we have 20+checkouts and you will be expected to take the responsibility for the day to day running of the checkout line and the cash office
Expected start date: To be discussed at interview, notice period etc

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
With your fellow Team leaders you will support the Cash Office manager to give our customers a positive payment experience by ensuring the check-out area is in shape as new, our check-outs are efficiently equipped at all times throughout the day and co-workers are ready and available to help customers.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE
You are resilient and adaptable in an ever-changing retail situation with a proven ability to work as part of a larger team. You are able to prioritise and organise work and the work of others in order to make the most efficient use of the time available. An understanding of the operational aspects of the cash office and a familiarity of process would be beneficial, full system training will be provided.
Entry level computer literacy is required for this role, and we are looking for candidates who are willing to embrace technological changes and work to improve our processes for our customers.
