Riverstone Kensington - Transport
Full Time London, England 32000 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

Chauffer at Riverstone Kensington– up to £32,000 a year starting salary plus performance related bonus.

More than A to B - be a part of something new and exciting; find your place at Riverstone luxury residence in Kensington.

Let’s start though with what is a Riverstone Residence? Think of a blend of outstanding apartments, with the services of a private members club and a luxury hotel, all designed for the over 65s. Beautiful homes, extraordinary services, and amenities, with an amazing sense of community and belonging.

This role is so much more than just driving and getting our residents from A to B (although that’s important!). You’ll probably be spending more time with them in the luxury Mercedes e-Vito you’ll be driving than many others in our team. Your personality, your conversation, and your knowledge around and about town will help define the experience we want to create. You don’t need to have been a driver before, but you do have to love driving, especially in London at its busiest, as much as you love chatting to people (have a full clean driving license and TFL Priv).

  • The chauffer role is 40-hour week Monday to Friday, shift times will vary, will normally be 09:30 to 18:00. As you’d expect there will need to be some flexibility around this from time to time.

Key responsibilities of the chauffer role

  • Provide a professional, secure, efficient, and friendly driving service to our residents, managing the bookings and driving our shuttle service to key destinations, transport between Riverstone Residences (currently Kensington and Fulham) and other ad hoc journeys to meet resident needs.
  • Keep abreast of the geographical area and roadwork situations, making recommendations for earlier start of journey to navigate and mitigate these, to ensure residents arrive at their destination on time.
  • Keep the vehicle pristine and ensure it is always in the best roadworthy condition.

This role will be great for you if…

  • You have a genuine and deep-rooted interest in others and enjoy building long-term relationships. You are great listener, show real empathy and have that ‘real feel’ for how to anticipate the needs of others.
  • You want to want to step out of the conventional jobs in the usual sectors to be part of creating a new lifestyle choice for the over-65s in central London.
  • You’re looking for a varied role delivering a great experience, that has the best of sectors like hospitality but without the demands and insecurity that can go with traditional roles.

A rewarding role

  • Starting salary of up to £32,000 based on experience, plus performance-related bonus
  • 40-hour week Monday to Friday
  • 8.5 hour shift each day with flexibility, this includes 30-minute lunch break
  • Some of the benefits that you will have access to include:
  • Enhanced pension and life assurance
  • Free meal whilst on duty from our restaurant
  • 25% off discounted dining all year round (conditions apply)
  • Save with us – access a range of discounts and cashback from hundreds of retailers on every day (and special day) items.
