Location: Home-based, with access to Zoom for meetings
IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a self-employed position. The candidate will be responsible for their own tax and NIC.

As a Charity Administrator, you'll play a crucial role in keeping our operations running smoothly and supporting our team to deliver our diverse programmes that make a difference in the community.
Role Overview:
We're searching for a dedicated and organised individual to step into the role of Charity Administrator. You'll be the backbone of our organisation, providing essential administrative support that keeps our charity and its programmes on track. From coordinating our service plan to managing communications, your work will be the foundation of our success.
Key Responsibilities:
Efficient Administrative Support: Your day-to-day tasks will include managing emails, booking activities and courses, updating platforms like Eventbrite and our website, handling data entry, and ensuring feedback and enquiries are properly recorded.
Streamlined Communication: You'll be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, ensuring that calls, emails, and mail are directed to the right members of our team.
Meeting Coordination: Keep the gears turning by coordinating and scheduling meetings, activities, courses, and events on our shared calendar.
Trusted Liaison: Be the point of contact for our service team, volunteers, and donors, providing information and coordinating resources as needed.
Effective Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of donor information, financial transactions, and grant applications.
Support Fundraising Efforts: Assist in grant research and writing, manage donor databases, and prepare materials to help us raise funds and make a greater impact.
Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work closely with our team to develop and implement administrative systems and procedures that make us more efficient and effective.
Maintain Confidentiality: Ensure all interactions and data handling adhere to confidentiality and data protection guidelines.
Trustee and Team Support: Take minutes during meetings and share notes/actions, and assist specific team members in their roles.
Qualifications and Skills:
Administrative Experience: Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within the charity or non-profit sector.
Organisational Master:Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, ensuring accurate record-keeping and communication.
Tech Savvy: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable managing databases.
Clear Communicator: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with team members, volunteers, and donors.
Team Player: Able to work independently and collaboratively within our dynamic team.
Fundraising Familiarity: Knowledge of fundraising practices and grant application processes is a plus.
Confidentiality Champion: Understanding of confidentiality and data protection guidelines.
