Flexibility to travel overseas for a couple of days per month and attend trade shows 3-4 times per year sometimes over weekends
Our growing Poole based client has an opening for an Export Sales Account Manager to join its team.
You will be responsible for increasing sales with existing clients and distributors, finding new distributors, maintaining and improving relationships with customers, and placing orders and owning the process from end to end.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining relationships with clients and distributors
- Managing and growing the International market for company products through trade sales to distributors and/or large retail chains in export territories.
- Working closely with distributors to boost sales in designated areas. Examining existing sales to establish missed sales opportunities
- Seeing out new direct accounts, new distributors in all corners of the world
- Attending, planning and taking responsibility for tradeshows abroad
- Supporting sales direct to the public through international websites
- Answering queries, undertaking reactive PR work and promoting the brand through online/offline marketing activities in conjunction with the Marketing Department
- Maintain accurate recordings of pipeline, business opportunity, quotation and order outcome
- Coordinate quotations to ensure set quote value and gross profit parameters are achieved
- Placing sampling orders and ensuring dispatched.
- Managing logistics/shipments as required - To be fully familiar with all export procedures required for every country to which shipments are made
- Satisfy delivery to both immediate and scheduled customers’ orders whilst ensuring the best stock profile and advising delivery dates where required
- Create a business case and marketing plan for appropriate specific business development for approval by the Sales Director.
- Producing and Monitoring Performance
- Complaint handling
- Liaising and planning with production for timely delivery of goods
- Arranging shipment collection/Liaise with shippers
- Preparing Export documentation
- Liaison with other department heads as required
- Flexibility and occasional business travel to attend trade show and new markets/customers/distributors in due course.
