We are looking for a Change Management Consultant. Together with our leadership, the Change Management Consultant, Change Practioners and your Project Managers colleagues, you will co-orchestrate and deliver global change and project activities supporting our business and people strategy and objectives.
What you will do as a Change Management Consultant
General responsibilities:
- Monitor the people side of the strategic change portfolio, including the effectiveness of change management activities, absorption capacity and change practitioner network
- Close cooperation, advise and support to the strategy execution office in order to manage and monitor Royal HaskoningDHV’s change initiatives as incorporated in our strategic portfolio dashboard and rolling calendar
- Act as a change practitioner to execute the change management plan in order to realise adoption of our key strategic projects and transformations in an easy and pragmatic way for the impacted people
- Increase awareness and initiate appropriate change interventions to ease implementations and accelerate and increase adoption of changes in the line
- Maintain, advise and consult the change practitioner network and ensure that the appropriate change management tools and practices (based on PROSCI) are applied to our projects
- Bring expertise, coaching or training and consultation to change practitioners in the line and enable them to be effective in the sustainment of change projects
Bring expertise and enablement for leaders or sponsors that need to lead changes and/or managers or project managers that need to lead or implement change
What you will bring
You have experience in change management & communication, and you are a compelling communicator and organizer. You know how to collaborate on different levels within a global organisation across different cultures. With your stakeholder management, influencing skills and practical approach on interventions you know how to create a sustained change in behaviour, ways of working and mind set.
The ideal candidate has:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field.
- 3 or more years relevant work experience.
- Great creative communications skills, able to speak and write fluent in English.
- A pragmatic and a positive ‘can do’ mentality, able to work under pressure and have high work ethics.
- Business sensitivity, understanding of both purpose, strategy, and daily operations in relation to the envisioned change and ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences.
- Experience in making results measurable and transparent.
- An understanding of how people go through a change.
- Knowledge how to translate a change management approach in communication interventions.
- Knowledge of Prosci is a plus.
- Experience with change processes from needs analysis, to design, development, delivery and evaluation is a plus.
- Experience in driving change in a large-scaled organisation with multiple (sub)cultures is a plus.
