What you will do
- Demonstrates understanding and knowledge of the technology systems necessary for patient data collection.
- Demonstrates accountability for ensuring availability of resources (equipment, instruments, supplies) necessary to ensure positive patient outcomes. Maintains clean, safe and orderly work/patient environment by cleaning work stations/areas, equipment; stocking supplies; placing equipment in proper storage areas.
- Demonstrates the ability to follow the plan of care that assures patients receive consistent, competent, and ethical care, within legal standards of practice, while maintaining privacy and support for the patient’s value system. Provides care consistent with both verbal and/or written instructions. Demonstrates competent understanding of assigned plans of care within appropriate scope of practice and responsibilities as directed by the RN/LPN to include accurately completing all required documentation.
- Participates positively in training and support of all team members, volunteers and students as needed.
- Demonstrates the ability to follow plan of care to include performing treatments and procedures competently/independently under direction of RN/LPN.
Qualifications
Experience
- Nursing Assistant:Transcripts or Letter stating candidate has 1 semester of RN nursing program completed for Nurse Aide position required.
- 1 year Prior experience in hospital setting (Preferred)
Licenses and Certifications
- CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) Upon Hire(Required)
