Job description
The ideal candidate will be responsible, well-trained and able to follow instructions, professional and able to give the best care with under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
Our healthcare staffing agency welcomes candidates who are well rounded, skilled and confident enough to get into any of our healthcare partner facilities and hit the ground running with little or no training.
Responsibilities
Bathe and dress patients Serve meals and help patients eat
Take vital signs Turn or reposition patients who are bedridden
Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses and doctors
Provide and empty bedpans
Lift patients into beds, wheelchairs, exam tables, etc.
Answer patient calls
Examine patients for bruises, blood in urine or other injuries/wounds
Clean and sanitize patient areas
Change bed sheets and restock rooms with necessary supplies
Requirements
Knowledge of relevant nursing care Friendly and professional bedside manner
Maintains current CPR certification
Multi-tasking skills Effective oral, written, and reading communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Per diem, PRN, Temporary
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
