Job Description
The Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting in the coordination and support of the physicians and/or other medical providers in the Cancer Center.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School or equivalent.
Completion of Accredited Medical Assistant Program or documentation of training.
Two (2) years current clinical experience in ambulatory care as a Certified Medical Assistant is strongly preferred.
EKG experience preferred.
Excellent communication skills.
Possess basic computer knowledge and skills.

License/Certification
Certified Medical Assistant - National Healthcareer Association (AAMA), Certified Medical Assistant - California Certifying Board for Medical Assistants(CMAA), or American Medical Technologists (AMT), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) or National Allied Health Test Registry certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
Basic Lifesaving Certification - American Heart Association
Salary Range:
32.11 - 39.80 USD Hourly
