CEO (Start-Up) Remote
Job description
Overview:
We are seeking visionary CEO to lead our socially conscious business. Our company is dedicated to addressing water shortages worldwide through the sale of mugs and water bottles with our charity partner.
We employ an innovative business model that allows customers to choose where their donation goes by purchasing mugs associated with specific regions enhanced by blockchain technology. The CEO will be responsible for managing the operations, driving the company's growth, and leading a passionate team. Compensation for this role will include equity in the company.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute the company's strategic direction in alignment with its mission and vision.
- Identify opportunities for growth, expansion, and partnership development to maximize the impact of the business.
- Make informed decisions to ensure the sustainability and profitability of the company.
Operations Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including inventory management, production, fulfillment, and customer service.
- Collaborate with our print on demand partner, to ensure seamless mug production and quality control.
- Optimize operational processes to increase efficiency and meet customer demands.
Team Leadership:
- Build and lead a motivated team, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Set clear goals and objectives for the team, providing guidance and support to achieve them.
- Encourage creativity, collaboration, and innovation among team members.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the company's financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts.
- Monitor financial performance and implement measures to ensure profitability.
- Seek opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth while maintaining the commitment to donating a significant portion of profits.
Social Impact and Blockchain Integration:
- Work closely with the charity partner to ensure effective collaboration and maximize the impact of donations.
- Oversee the implementation of blockchain technology to provide transparency and traceability for customer donations.
- Continuously explore new ways to enhance social impact and improve the customer experience through technological innovation.
Stakeholder Management:
- Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, including customers, partners, investors, and the charity organization.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Effectively communicate the company's mission, values, and impact to inspire and engage stakeholders.
There are only 3 qualifications required:
- Previous experience in a leadership and the ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Strong business acumen and proven experience in strategic planning, operations management, and financial oversight.
- Passion for social impact and a track record of incorporating socially responsible practices into business models.
**Familiarity with blockchain technology is a big plus
Equity Compensation:
The CEO will be offered equity in the company as part of their compensation package, providing a stake in the business and aligning their interests with the long-term success of the company.
