We have an exciting opportunity for a Host to join the team at Porsche Centre Norwich.
This is a part time position working 1 day a week (Saturdays), from 8am – 5pm. The salary for the role will be £10.42 per hour.
About the Role
As our Extraordinary Host, you will ensure an exceptional welcome and start to the LIND and Porsche experience by providing a kind, professional and warm welcome to all customers that visit the centre on Saturdays.
We like to create an inviting atmosphere of hospitality, inclusivity, and friendliness, with the Host being a friendly and familiar face to all.
You will manage the overall showroom atmosphere, creating harmony by managing customer traffic, pro-actively and professionally guiding customers to the right contact person, or customer lounge ensuring a quality waiting time by serving the customer with refreshments, WIFI access and engaging conversation.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Journey
- Anticipate and proactively approach all visitors at the entrance to welcome them and accompany them when exiting.
- Create a warm welcome without waiting time.
- Engage with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Analysis of customer needs. (Identifying needs, interests and establish reason for the visit)
- Guide the customer to right contact person, professionally handing over, and informing of next steps.
- Always keep the Showroom and Coffee Bar immaculate during the day
- Work closely with the Porsche Pro when customers face longer waiting times. (e.g., offer product consultations or tech talks with Porsche Pro to bridge waiting times)
- Bridge waiting time with initial talk about the brand/dealership events.
- Host any senior management boardroom meetings, ensuring refreshments are offered and the meeting room is clean and ready for the meeting.
- Serve customer with refreshments and Wi-Fi access.
- Be aware of appointments in the showroom for the following day. (e.g., greeting customer by name, providing preferred refreshments, quick guidance to the appropriate contact etc.)
Additional tasks
- Provide digital social media content. (check out our instagram page: www.instagramcom/porschenorwich)
- Ensure all post and deliveries are collected/redirected and that all centre post to go out is weighed, stamped and ready for collection.
- Ensure correct procedure is followed for contractors signing in.
- Manage the Boardroom diary and ensure the fridge is fully stocked by providing lunch and refreshments at agreed intervals.
- Hourly check to ensure everything is correctly maintained in the showroom. (e.g., cleanliness, availability of beverages, decorations)
- Customer support for events (e.g., customer greeting, sign-ins)
- Ensure that cover is provided and communicated during lunches and breaks.
- Maintain good security and housekeeping.
- Ensure that safe working practices are employed in line with the Health and Safety handbook and communication.
