About the Role:
We are looking to recruit a Central Dispensary Assistant who will provide dispensing services to PDSA clients and their pets, and to other animal welfare charities throughout the UK.
The role will be responsible for processing and posting repeat prescriptions in a timely manner, support the management of stock systems within the Central Dispensary including stock control, ordering and rotation, building relationships with PDSA Pet Hospitals, animal welfare charities and pet owners to deliver an exceptional customer experience, ensure compliance with risk assurance and clinical governance processes in Central Dispensary including health and safety, Veterinary Medicine Directorate guidelines, and ensure that the Central Dispensary is in a safe, hygienic condition following all cleaning protocols that are in place.

About You:
Candidates must have previous veterinary or pharmacy experience, ability to communicate with individuals effectively over the telephone, be computer literate and have strong organisational skills. A Veterinary Care Assistant Qualification would be advantageous but not essential.
