CEE FX Trader
London
This role is deemed as a Certified role under the PRA & UK Financial Conduct Authority - Individual Accountabilities Regulations and may require the role holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications or the minimum qualifications to meet internal company benchmarks.
As a Barclays CEE FX Trader, you will be joining a global, client-focused, market making business responsible for covering a wide range of clients, products and currencies. We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. • You will be responsible for executing orders/trades including liaising closely with Sales
- Managing risk consistently with business principles and control framework
- You will contribute to Pnl production in line with business objectives
- Collaborating with Business Management, Product Control, Compliance, Legal and other infrastructure areas
- Partnering with the desk and distribution to drive the franchise targets
- Adding value to immediate and wider trading teams via analysis, excellent control mind-set and well-honed communication skills
- Building and maintaining solid client relationships
- Collaborating with other functional partners to understand wider risk and control framework to prioritise work items/improvements accordingly
• Good knowledge of EM Markets, macro and market risk, and an ability to learn quickly to build understanding in order to deliver positive client outcomes and revenue generation
- Prior trading experience of relevant currencies/products
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Highly numerate
