Quite simply, food is our passion.We are looking for an experienced Chef Manager for a site based in Watford to lead one of our vibrant and busy contracts. The ideal candidate should be passionate about creating an exciting small food offering & providing exemplary customer service whilst leading a small catering team and driving sales and standards.Required Education, Skills and QualificationsTo be successful you will need to demonstrate an affinity with our values, a track record of leading teams to success, and strong client and customer relationship building skills. Previous catering experience and knowledge of budget management and processes and procedures would be useful.Key responsibilities are to:Lead and run this fun and innovative catering site and team by creating an environment in which you can perform at their bestProvide fantastic food, with a passion for customers and of course foodDriving sales and revenueEnsure we deliver the best catering service within budgetMonitor the service and our food offering so that it constantly exceeds customers’ expectationsEnsure compliance at all time with all Health and Safety, Food Hygiene and other regulations, policies and proceduresBuild and maintain excellent client and customer relationships so that you work in partnership and deliver a service that meets their needsManage stock levels and oversee the ordering processEnsure all cash is safely counted, stored and recordedRecruit, develop and carry out performance reviews for your teamEnsure the kitchen and dining areas are immaculately clean at all timesJob Types: Permanent, Full-timeSalary: £36,000.00-£40,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company pensionDiscounted or free foodLife insuranceOn-site parkingStore discountSchedule:Monday to FridayNo weekendsExperience:contract catering: 3 years (preferred)Chef Manager: 3 years (preferred)Chef: 5 years (preferred)Work Location: In personExpected start date: 06/11/2023
