Catering Assistant - Greater Manchester
Job description
We provide catering services to TV and film crew on location and will be working in and around the Greater Manchester area (Deansgate, Warrington,Bolton) with the job commencing 03/07/2023 for a duration of approx 6 weeks.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced catering assistant to join our professional catering team on location for a new television production. Duties include setting up service area, assisting Chefs with preparation and serving of hot and cold food, cleaning, washing up and general catering assistant/portering duties as instructed by the Head Chef. Food hygiene knowledge is essential and a certificate in food hygiene is advantageous.
Work days Monday - Friday - minimum 7 hrs per day, start and finish times would depend on the shooting schedule which you will know in advance, there are some later starts/finishes.
You will need to be reliable, friendly and flexible with a can do attitude and experience of working in a kitchen.
The ideal candidate would be able to fulfil the entire filming period however, consideration will be given to experienced applicants who are able to fulfil part of the contract.
Due to the locations you will be required to have your own transport or means of travel.
