Job Title: Catering assistant

Shift Pattern:

3-week rota - -07:30 - 15:30 & 11:30 - 19:30 working 2 in 3 weekends

5 over 7 days. 6.30 – 2.30 and 11 – 7.00

Location: Pinderfields General Hospital WF1 4DG

Pay Rate: £ 10.37 to 18.77 per hour

Food Safety L2 essential

This is a full-time Catering Position role based at Pinderfields General Hospital

This is a Band 2 position paying £9.65 - £17.66 per hour.

Hours: 3-week rota - -07:30 - 15:30 & 11:30 - 19:30 working 2 in 3 weekends

The Role

We have a temporary placement opportunity available for a Catering assistant within the Catering department, providing the following support to the Team.

Duties to include:

Candidate will work as part of the catering team which plates up all the patients’ meals

Washing the returning food trolleys, crockery, and cutlery

Food checks / Temperature checks

Plating meals

Picking and packing meals from cold boxes, making sure items picked match patient orders

Checking batch codes are correct and recorded

General cleaning of the Kitchen area.

The skills required are:

Experience in a similar role

A strong work ethic and organisational skills
