Working Environment
We are looking for a candidate to join our friendly Catering Team at Spring Common Academy Huntingdon.
The role will include basic food preparation, serving at the counter and cleaning the kitchen. All uniforms and training will be provided and this role is subject to a clear DBS check.
Job Description
As Catering Assistant, you will have plenty of responsibilities and opportunities to grow in your role, becoming a critical member of our team. For example, you will be responsible for ensuring the kitchen and service area is always clean, well presented, and well-stocked. In addition, you will keep up to date with menus, offering a warm and friendly service. Finally, along with colleagues, you will ensure COSHH, food safety, and H&S are followed, with any incidents reported in line with documented procedures.
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 12:00pm - 2:00pm, term time only
Skills and Experience
To fill the role of Catering Assistant, we will require you to possess these essential skills and experience:
- Willingness to cooperate as part of a team
- Pride in quality customer experience
- Previous catering experience is desirable but not essential, with the right attitude we can train you up!
