Job description
Wilson's Underlays Ltd are a manufacturer of flooring products. Your role will be to represent the company and deliver our products to customers throughout the UK. Driving can take you anywhere from Cornwall to Glasgow so a good knowledge of the UK would be advantageous as would some experience of driving.
The role is classed as casual part time working 2 or 3 days a week and the applicant must be flexible and be able to work at short notice to help cover current drivers or make deliveries to help the company manage their order book.
You will drive modern 3.5 tonne VW Crafter LWB Maxi vans fitted with Sat Nav and all the modern features.
You must be of smart appearance, confident and being one of the few direct points of contact with the customers you must be pleasant and display a "nothing is too much trouble" attitude. The role involves lifting and carrying so you will need to be physically fit.
You must work well on your own, display a high degree of initiative and be able to think for yourself to ensure a job is done effectively.
You will need a mobile phone preferably a smart phone to take pictures and communicate with the office through SMS or Whatsapp.
Typically a delivery run will consist of 4 to 8 deliveries.
Some experience Driving 3.5 Tonne Delivery Vehicles would be advantageous.
The correct candidate will need to be over 25 due to our insurance policy.
