Beacon Sports & Fitness are looking for enthusiastic and reliable candidates to work with their superb team as a Sports Centre Attendant on a casual basis. This is a zero hour contract, an ideal role for those who want a flexible role in which they can choose which shifts to work from those available on a monthly basis.
Job Description
To assist with setting out sports equipment, cleaning and assisting on reception with bookings and enquiries.
Working under the direction of the Centre Manager, Assistant Manager or Receptionist/ Shift Supervisor, you will deliver a first-class customer service ensuring the Centre is well presented at all times.
The Centre’s current opening hours are Mon - Fri 6.00 am to 10.00 pm, Sat/ Sun/ Bank Holidays 8.00 am to 8.00pm. You will work on a rota basis and it is anticipated that casual staff will be rostered to work a range of shifts including evenings, weekends and some lone working shifts (after full training).
Flexibility is important as you may be required to work at short notice to cover holidays and sickness. However, it is anticipated that that this role could be fitted around study commitments (e.g. 6th Form, College/ University).
Casual staff will be entitled to free use of the gym facilities.
