North Lincolnshire Home First Short Stay support service is a registered Rehabilitation and Reablement service that provides time limited intervention and therapies to people within a purpose built residential setting. We strive to deliver support that puts people at the centre of our services. Our aim is to ensure that a person can return to their own home or another suitable setting and feel confident and safe to live as independently as possible. Rehabilitation Worker post holders provide rehabilitation support to individuals following accident or illness allowing a return to independence. This involves following therapy plans and working in conjunction with other health and social care professionals. The role also involves direct work such as supporting with moving and handling, attending to personal care needs and administering medication as well as maximising opportunities for social inclusion and emotional wellbeing. The role offers a fantastic work life balance. The service operates on a rolling rota basis with a 2 shift pattern covering the hours of 07:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00. The role pays enhancements for weekend working. As a Rehabilitation Worker you will be part of a fast paced and developing service that has opportunities for further development and progression.
