Job description

We are looking to recruit casual Reablement Assistants within our exceptional Home First services, to provide cover for our contracted team members. Work is available within the following teams;

North Lincolnshire Home First Short Stay, Sir John Mason House, De Lacy Way, Winterton

Home First Short Stay is a registered Rehabilitation and Reablement service that provides time limited intervention and therapies to people within a 30-bed rehabilitation setting. Our aim is to ensure that a person can return home/appropriate place, feel confident and is safe to live as independently as possible.

North Lincolnshire Home First Myos House, Warwick Road, Scunthorpe

Myos House is a Dementia Extra Care housing facility consisting of 25 individual flats where individuals with a diagnosis of dementia can reside within a safe and supported environment. Our aim is to ensure a person can remain at home, and feel safe and confident to live as independently as possible.

North Lincolnshire Home First Community, Billet Lane Scunthorpe

Home First Community is a registered Rehabilitation and Reablement service that provides time limited intervention and therapies to people within their own homes. Working in locality-based teams across the North Lincolnshire geographical area, our aim is to ensure that a person can remain at home and feel confident and is safe to live as independently as possible. Access to a vehicle to transport yourself around the geographical area you will be working within is essential within this team.

The role involves direct work such as supporting with moving and handling, attending to personal care needs and supporting with social inclusion and emotional wellbeing.
