Casual Event Staff Newquay, England
Job description
Job description
Serve are disrupting traditional ways of working in hospitality by offering flexible and fun work in bar and waiting roles across Cornwall and Devon. Our crew typically help out with food and/or drinks service at a range of different events or hospitality venues. Weddings, festivals, events, private parties, game stadiums, theatres and more.
We have plenty of regular work at a popular beach-front venue in Newquay, with both bar and Front of House shifts available and these shifts are for lunch (10:30 - 16:00) or dinner service (17:00 - 22:30). This will still follow our values of being flexible and you will have complete control over how many shifts you would like to do.
Please note, we are not an agency. We are an event staffing company, who exclusively provide experienced bar and waiting teams. Our crew are valued, inducted and trained in-person and are part of a collective team.
Driving is not essential.
What we offer:
- An app to self-manage your shifts - your rota is in your hands.
- A huge variety of amazing work opportunities at events, festivals, weddings and other venues.
- An interactive onboarding process with in-person inductions to meet others in the team and prepare you for event work.
- Training opportunities in bar, barista, cocktails and more.
- The opportunity to work your way up into supervisor / HQ roles.
- Crew incentives and awards, bonus and referral schemes.
What we expect:
- Enthusiasm for delivering quality bar/waiting service with a positive attitude.
- Good, polite communication with HQ.
- Punctuality and reliability in committing to shifts you have been confirmed/reserved for.
- Pride in your appearance, consistently wearing the correct uniform.
