Cashroom Assistant

What to expect
Our Finance and Cashroom team are crucial to the firm’s operations and deliver a first class service. In this role you will:
- Record client cheques received daily, complete documentation and ensure that all fees are accurately posted to ledgers.
- Accurately input and process, on a daily basis, the system entries for both client and firm.
- Print cheques from client and firm bank accounts when cheque requests authorised.
- Send firm transfers ensuring appropriate authorisation.
- Perform bank reconciliation and reconciliation of supplier accounts and statements
- Balance petty cash
- Deal with any ad hoc queries about client balances, review regular reports and make appropriate adjustments and provide cover as appropriate for other members of the cash room team.
What we’re looking for
- Excellent attention to detail
- Accuracy
- Good IT Skills
- Experience of MS Office suit, ie. Excel, Outlook etc.
- Good Numeracy skills
- Ideally you will be educated to Nat5 equivalent
- Teamworker
