Job description
A family owned and run Company for over 50 years, at Ron Perry and Son we value top quality customer service above all else and to this end we always seek to employ top quality staff. We own two Service Stations with Convenience stores on the A19 close to Hartlepool. As well as Fuel, we stock a full range of shop goods have an Off-licence and are National Lottery Retailers.
Applicants must have a valid Driving Licence and own transport and need to be 18 years plus, due to Off-licence restrictions.
Staff Duties Include
- Being well-presented and punctual;
- Serving customers in a polite and efficient manner;
- Handling cash and credit payments;
- Receiving, checking and merchandising deliveries of stock;
- General cleaning and housekeeping duties;
- Ensuring Health & Safety standards are met;
- Accurate shift reconciliation.
Previous Retail experience would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.
We currently have vacancies for Full and Part-time staff working various shifts throughout the week. Our Daytime Shifts consist of: an AM shift 05:30 -13:30 and a PM shift 13:30 - 21:30. Night shift is 21:30 - 05:30.
Positions would be for 32 - 40 hours per week and include some weekend working.
