Job description

As a cashier, you will be at the forefront of providing a positive and excellent customer service. You will join a friendly team, contributing towards the success and growth of Cyprofood.

Cashier rresponsibilities:

• Handle cash or credit transactions with customers
• Collect payments
• Ensure pricing is correct
• Issue change, receipts & refunds
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change
• Prepare money for cash-in transit collections
• Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information
• Greet customers when leaving establishment
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
• Keep orderly reports of transactions
• Process returns and check to see if items are damaged
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction
• Liaise with Manager of Accounting and Finance

Our ideal candidate must:

• Be friendly and approachable, with exceptional interpersonal skills
• Bring a high level of accuracy and security to payment handling
• Be comfortable conversing with customer and responding to their queries
• You must be organised and have a positive attitude
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Turkish speaker (Native/full professional proficiency)
• English speaker (Native/full professional proficiency)

1 year experience handling till operations necessary. Training will be provided.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £23,000.00-£29,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
