As a Retail Cashier, you will be the first and last impression upon our customers and are expected to model the professional and friendly behavior that mirrors the company’s core values. Accuracy, effective communication and excellent customer service skills combine to provide that the customer has a most satisfying experience. Full attention and awareness to all customers to maintain a pleasant environment, help answer customer inquiries and deter theft. Friday, Saturday and Sunday availability is a plus. Some Holidays. $14.00 - $15.00 / HR DOE
Key Accountabilities:
- Greet each customer as they enter the store and thank them as they exit
- Answer phones promptly and professionally and direct calls to ensure minimum wait time
- Teamwork oriented with the ability to work in a product learning environment
- Review and offer rewards program to develop greater value and repeat customers
- Strong sense of pride and responsibility for the maintenance and organization of till areas
- Maintain high awareness of surroundings to provide safe and secure environment.
Skills Summary:
- Enjoy connecting with customers and demonstrating an enthusiastic and positive attitude
- Ability to operate POS system with accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities and quickly learning new procedures
- Demonstrate knowledge of store products and services, and use this knowledge to inspire customers to make purchases
- Ability to meet or exceed customer service standards.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers and management
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including morning, evening and weekend availability
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and bend repeatedly throughout shift
- Adhere to Loss Prevention control and compliance procedures
