Pay Range: $16.14 - 19.60 hourly
Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle
NFM is looking for a Lead Cashier to Support cashiering staff to provide fast, courteous and knowledgeable service to all internal and external customers based on department quality standards.
Job Duties: A Day in the Life
- Train: Empower staff to make decisions that are best for our customers
- Support: Answer cashier’s questions and trouble shoot solutions to provide customer satisfaction
- Monitor: Track customer traffic and match resources to ensure efficiency
- Assess: Verify money counts and administer counterfeit procedures on large bill transactions. Report any concerns to Security for review.
- Distribute: Collect checks daily and take them to Records Management for processing
- Report: Account for any overages and shortages to management with details
Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?
- High school diploma/G.E.D.
- 6 months’ cash handling experience
- 1-year customer service experience
- Data entry skills per established department requirements
- Working knowledge of computers required.
- Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs
- Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, criminal background check
