Your Role:
As a Cashier, you will play an important role in the success of the Mayesh branch by providing operational support and ensuring that our customers receive gorgeous, fragrant fresh flowers at the expected prices. You must possess a positive attitude and an ability to interact with customers and co-workers in a professional and friendly manner.
Expectations:
- Collect payments via cashier terminal; ensure prices and items are accurate.
- Complete beginning and end of day duties including (but not limited to) balancing register, distributing petty cash, counting and verifying cash and preparing bank deposits.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized register area; assist with warehouse and sales operations when necessary.
- Other duties as needed.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of customer service and cashier experience. Floral experience a plus!!!
- Experience with various computer systems including (but not limited to) Microsoft Office.
- Ability to frequently lift, move and shift up to 50lbs.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with large, walk-in refrigerators.
- Ability to stand, crouch, kneel, walk and sit for the duration of your shift (less applicable break periods).
