Job Description
The College Store cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service to students and visitors. This position will work with customers to answer questions face-to-face and over the phone, as well as assist with locating items and placing orders. The cashier will complete transactions at the registers for textbooks, merchandise, and gift cards. The position will also assist in creating displays for new product, restocking existing inventory, and maintaining a clean and save environment.

Required Qualifications
Must be enrolled as an IWCC student for Fall 2023 semester.
This position starts before the semester begins, no later than August 1, 2023.
Must have cashiering experience, excellent customer service and clear communication skills.

Physical Demands
Requires prolonged standing or sitting. Requires frequent bending, stooping or stretching. May require average to heavy-weight objects. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Requires ability to distinguish letters or symbols. Requires the use of office equipment such as cash register terminals, calculator, telephone, and copiers.
Pay Rate
$9/hr
