The job of a food counter attendant is to take orders from customers. This usually takes place in self-service places such as several fast food outlets, movie theaters and canteens. In some places, food counter attendants may also have to prepare simple dishes on request of customers. Customer service is one of the major duties of the job.

Food counter attendant duties and responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of a food and beverages attendant are:
- Taking orders from customers
- Some jobs requires giving tokens to customers to collect the ordered dishes from a different window
- Ensuring that customer receive their dished precisely as orders and may have to customize standard dishes to suit the order
- Generating bills and collecting the payment
- Recording all monetary transactions with precision
- Serve simple foods and drinks from behind the counter
- May also be required to make inventory lists and place orders for ingredients
- Ensuring that customers get their orders without delay
- Ensuring high quality customer service and customer satisfaction
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
