We at PE Taylor Carpentry are looking for highly skilled and qualified carpenters to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working on both large and small construction sites and will be comfortable being part of a team or working independently on a variety of projects. Our carpenters are responsible for completing all carpentry work including site preparation, framing, roughing, finishing and trimming. Additionally, the successful candidates will be required to lift heavy loads as needed and to work in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Utilise a range of carpentry tools and equipment in order to construct items from wooden, metal, and plastic materials.
- Use finger and hand tools effectively.
- Utilise tools such as a table saw, level, chisel and drill to install doors, windows and molding.
- Fit, measure and cut materials according to specifications and instructions.
- Operate power tools such as an electric drill and circular saw.
- Use pneumatic nail guns to fasten wallboard to studs and ceiling joists.
- Install doors, windows and molding.
Job Types: Full-time, Freelance
Salary: £18.00-£19.00 per hour
