Job description
We're looking for a full-time Carpenter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building structures, primarily out of wood, to produce desired results. A strong understanding of carpentry is necessary because the position involves a lot of building, measuring, cutting and installing wood. The Carpenter should have prior experience working with both hand and power tools, as well as have basic knowledge of wood types and wood finishing techniques. Responsibilities:
- Use hand and power tools to build new structures and repair existing structures.
- Have knowledge about architectural construction techniques.
- Perform physical work to prepare sites for new buildings.
- Work on residential and commercial projects.
- Measure and cut boards, erect scaffolding, and drive nails.
- Read plans, drawings, and blueprints.
- Be responsible for the accuracy of his/her work.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £19.00-£20.00 per hour
