Support worker/Personal Assistant/Carer required for
An experienced female support worker who is reliable, punctual, and flexible is required to support an adult female based in London Borough Tower Hamlets. The ideal candidate would live locally within about a 3 mile radius of Borough.
The ideal candidate should have previous experience working with adults/older people in their own homes and possess a calm, kind and caring disposition.
The candidate should be trustworthy, very compassionate and respectful. They will need to have a professional work ethic with the highest regard to confidentiality and discretion. They will need to be extremely clean, know how to cook and be able to follow precise instructions.
The candidate will need to follow the instructions and support with cleaning, personal care, shopping, cooking and support with reading and writing correspondence. A good level of English is required.
Duties:
*The successful candidate will be part of a team of PA’s and will be expected to cover each other on annual leave and sick leave*. You will also need to be willing to undertake appropriate training for this role which can be provided.
A level 2 Diploma in Health and Social care is desirable as well as a recent enhanced DBS and checkable references.
Hours: 10.25 hrs per week (Monday- Sunday)
Mainly in the morning but needs to flexible.
Rate: £14 gross per hour (paid on a monthly basis)
Proof of entitlement to work in the UK will be required at interview.
An Enhanced Disclosure Barring Check will be required for this position.
